CostByCollegeThis page explains how CostByCollege makes money, in plain terms.
The pilot today
The pilot site carries no affiliate links, no advertising, and no paid placements. No school pays to be listed, to be ranked in any table, or to have any figure changed. Every figure comes from the federal sources named on the methodology page.
If that changes
If affiliate links or advertising are added in the future, they will be labeled on the page where they appear, this page will be updated first, and any link that could pay the site will carry a label saying so. Rankings by cost and by acceptance rate are worked out from the published figures by the rules on the methodology page, and payment from any company will not change a ranking.
